Sityodtong Los Angeles is a martial arts and combat sports training academy located at 260 E Taylor St in Monrovia, California. The academy provides instructional training in traditional Sityodtong Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, mixed martial arts, and self-defense. The gym is owned and operated by Kru Walter Michalowski, who serves as head coach with more than thirty years of combat sports experience. Michalowski trained in Thailand under Grandmaster Yodtong Senanan at the original Sityodtong Camp. The academy is co-owned and managed by Coach June Castro Michalowski, an experienced martial artist with an extensive family background in Kenpo Karate. Instruction covers fundamental and advanced Muay Thai striking, incorporating traditional Thai pad work, clinch mechanics, kicking drills, and conditioning. Grappling and mixed martial arts classes integrate ground defense, positioning, and tactical sparring for recreation and competition.
