Acadiana Jiu Jitsu operates at 5537 Cameron St., Scott, LA 70583. The facility provides martial arts instruction for Scott and nearby communities including Lafayette, Carencro, Duson, Rayne, and Cankton. Classes are taught by Professor Heath Henry, a BJJ Revolution Team Black Belt who has studied under Tim Credeur and Josh Artigue since 2008 and has instructed under the BJJ Revolution Team banner since 2012. The teaching staff also includes Coach Clayton Hebert, Coach Emma Gossen, Coach Justin Carrier, and yoga instructor Lindsey Bergeron. Course offerings feature Preschool Jiu Jitsu for Ages 3-5, Kids Jiu Jitsu for Ages 5-7 and Ages 8-10, and Teen Jiu Jitsu for Ages 10-15. Adult members train in Adult Gi Jiu Jitsu, Adult Nogi Jiu Jitsu, Adult Muay Thai Kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts 101, and Women's BJJ & Self-Defense. Prospective participants can begin with a free trial class combined with a mini private lesson.
