Empire MMA and Self-defense

Empire MMA and Self-defense operates at 400 West Saint Francis St. STE A8 in Brusly, LA 70719. Known as Empire MMA, the academy maintains training partnerships with organizations including Bayou Jiu Jitsu, Graves Gym, Capital City Chiro, and Infidel Automatics. Instruction is guided by Roman David Pizzolato, who serves as Owner and Instructor and holds a black belt under Professor Kevin Bellard. The school traces its martial arts lineage to the Ralph Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Class offerings feature Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu alongside Cardio Kickboxing, Kickboxing Fundamentals, Advanced Kickboxing, and MMA/Sparring. Youth instruction includes Baby Warriors and Jrs. Advanced in both Gi and No Gi formats, with age divisions spanning ages 6-12, 12-18, and 18+. Weekly training runs Monday through Friday, starting with classes at 5:00 PM. New students and families can test classes with a free one week trial.
