Function Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts academy located at 1313 Grand Avenue #8A in Billings, Montana. The facility operates as an affiliate of Impact Jiu-Jitsu, an organization established in Beaverton, Oregon in 1998 by Professor Michael Chapman, a fifth-degree black belt under Chris Haueter. The academy is also an approved training facility supporting combat veterans through scholarship opportunities. Owner and head coach Christopher Belcher initiated his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training in 2007 and received his black belt in 2019. Youth and women's classes are headed by Liz White, who brings over fifteen years of experience instructing children. Competitive training is directed by adult coach Mike Jones, who leads the Function Jiu Jitsu Competition Team. Training programs include Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, striking, and yoga for grappling.
