Nine Realms MMA

Nine Realms MMA operates at 204 North Queen Street in Martinsburg, WV. The weekly schedule features morning classes Monday thru Friday from 7am-9am, evening classes Monday thru Friday from 5pm-9pm, and weekend open mats on Sunday from 10AM - 12PM. New students can register for a free trial class. Jiu-Jitsu instruction is guided by Coach Melissa “Coach P” Thompson, who serves as the Founder of Freya Jiu Jitsu, Lead Coach of all Jiu Jitsu classes, and Lead Kids Coach for Muay Thai. Black belt oversight is provided by Rick Bateman, an Oversight Black Belt who earned rank under Kristian Woodmansee. The coaching roster also includes Shane Woosley, who earned a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Andre Terencio and was promoted to first degree black belt in 2022. The training facility provides programs in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, Muay Thai, and mixed martial arts for beginner and experienced practitioners. Offerings include adult martial arts classes alongside dedicated youth instruction designed to build discipline, athletic conditioning, and fundamental combat sports technique.
