One World Jiu-Jitsu is a martial arts academy founded in 2006 by Mike Prudencio. Situated in California, the school focuses on technical Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction conducted in a family-oriented environment built around teamwork, mutual respect, and long-term athletic development on the mats. Instruction spans beginner through advanced grappling practitioners, teaching positional fundamentals, submission defenses, and competition preparation. Class sessions typically incorporate half an hour of warm-up drills followed by an hour of technique instruction and ending with active mat rounds and open training. The school offers training in both traditional gi uniforms and nogi rashguards and fight shorts. Members have access to scheduled kids classes, competition training groups, and Sunday evening Open Mat gatherings, with trial participants requiring a signed liability waiver and valid identification prior to training.
