pajama strangle time operates at 55 Porter Street in Providence, RI. Known also as Death Kitty Dojo, the facility encompasses a 5,000-square-foot space equipped with over 1,250 square feet of BJJ mat space, a separate striking and yoga room, a full weight room with heavy bags, locker rooms with showers, and on-site parking. Instruction is led by Paul Risotti, holding the title of Strangler in Chief and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Tim Burrill. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Risotti brings coaching experience working with law enforcement personnel alongside fighters in Bellator and the UFC. The coaching staff also features Dave Keefe, Jimmy Thifault, Katie Moore, Jay Laforge, and Mike Valletta. Programs at the academy include gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, striking for self-defense, open mats, and youth classes for kids. Students practice positional submissions, takedowns, and controlled drilling in an informal setting. Prospective practitioners can try a free first class to experience training firsthand.
