Rankin Jiu-Jitsu Academy provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and self-defense instruction at 114 E Business Park Drive in Brandon, Mississippi. Founded in October 2023 by owner and head instructor Justin Donald, the academy delivers structured martial arts education for youth and adult practitioners. Head instructor Justin Donald began martial arts training at age seven, earned a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo, a first-degree black belt in Hapkido, and served twenty years in the military as an Air Force special agent. He continued his grappling education at Keesler Air Force Base under Professor Leonardo Delgado, a Rio de Janeiro native with over twenty years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience. Instructor Donald also trains under Master Kevin Kimery to advance his martial curriculum. Coursework includes adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for students ages 12 and older, and kids jiu-jitsu classes structured for ages 6 to 11. Instruction emphasizes technical repetition, mat safety, and positional control. Prospective students can participate in a one-week free trial of jiu-jitsu classes.
