Gi and No-Gi are the defining training-focus labels for Rise Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Kamloops in Kamloops, BC, Canada. The paired disciplines present two closely related grappling categories: Gi uses the traditional jacket context, while No-Gi identifies grappling without it. For a beginner, the distinction helps frame two ways of approaching the same broad martial-arts area; for a competitor, it distinguishes the rule and clothing contexts commonly associated with each label. Neither focus displaces the other here, since both Gi and No-Gi are supplied for the same Kamloops record. Rise Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Kamloops is thus characterized by this dual grappling focus and by its location in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, with no additional discipline category stated.
