The Hive Martial Arts Academy is located at 18b Hornerstown Rd. in Cream Ridge, NJ. The academy is operated by owners Ruben Blanco, who serves as head instructor, and Jen Blanco, who serves as instructor. The school provides martial arts and fitness training designed to foster a supportive learning environment for practitioners of all ages across the Cream Ridge community. Instructional programs are structured by age and developmental stage, beginning with the Baby Bees program for children ages one and a half to four. Older youth progress through the Little Stingers BJJ classes for younger children and the Kids BJJ program for intermediate youth, where students learn grappling fundamentals, bodily coordination, discipline, and basic self-defense skills. The Teen / Adult BJJ program accommodates practitioners ages thirteen and older, offering systematic technical instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Classes emphasize positional control, escapes, sweeps, and submissions alongside conditioning, providing practical martial arts education for both beginners and experienced grapplers.
