Uflacker Academy

Uflacker Academy is located at 6390 South Archer in Chicago, Illinois 60638, situated off I-55 between Harlem and Central Ave. The academy serves the southwest communities of the Chicagoland area. Founded by Professor Christian Uflacker, a 5th degree black belt under Master Renzo Gracie, the school provides Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts instruction. Professor Christian Uflacker is an undefeated professional mixed martial artist who competed for BellatorMMA and StrikeforceMMA, holding major titles including IBJJF World Champion, American National Champion, Brazilian National Champion, and The European Open Champion. He implemented a BJJ training system for the United States Marines, coached athletes in UFC and BellatorMMA, and entered the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2025. The academy conducts classes seven days a week, offering Adult All-Levels BJJ, Adult All Levels No-Gi BJJ, and Women's Self Defense. Youth programs accommodate students through Kids 3-5 Years old BJJ and Kids 6 years old & above BJJ. Training amenities feature 3,500 sq. feet of mat space, two training areas, an MMA cage, striking bags, crash pads, and a private weightlifting room.
