Alejandro Lucas is the head instructor and co-owner of Live Oak Jiu Jitsu Academy in Fairfield, where he teaches across all of the academy's programs. He holds a second degree black belt under coral belt Renato Magno and began Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 26. Lucas has developed the academy's curriculum and has taught at every program level, including youth, adults, fundamentals, the women's program and the competition team. He has also guided students through the ranks himself; among the academy's own instructors are practitioners who received their purple belts under him.
