Alexandro Ceconi is the founder and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach of Ceconi BJJ, the team this academy represents. Born and raised in Santa Catarina, Brazil, he trained Jiu-Jitsu at lunchtime and in the evenings under Rilion Gracie, the youngest son of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu founder Carlos Gracie, while working his day job as a car salesman. In 2011 he decided to pursue MMA fighting professionally, putting all his focus into that endeavour before opening his own academy, Ceconi BJJ. Together with his wife Gabi Ceconi, also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach, he brought his methods to the Greater Houston area in Texas, where Ceconi BJJ now runs schools in Magnolia and Cypress offering women's, kids and adult Jiu-Jitsu as well as self-defence classes. The team's competitors include athlete Henrique "Ceconi" Cardoso.
