André Miguel Aleluia Gonçalo
André Gonçalo is a black belt coach at Gracie Barra Sandweiler in Luxembourg. He began Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2009, initially to improve his fitness and confidence, and what started as training soon became a way of life. After years of consistent practice he moved up through the ranks and received his black belt in 2020; the academy notes that he has been with Gracie Barra since 2009. As a coach, Gonçalo is described as bringing calm leadership, technical knowledge and a solid grasp of the Gracie Barra methodology. His teaching centres on building strong fundamentals, sharpening decision-making and helping students develop a deeper connection with jiu-jitsu, and he supports members at every stage from their first classes to more advanced technical work. He teaches alongside André Lima, a brown belt who has coached at the school since 2019.
