Andrea Verdemare
Andrea Verdemare is the head coach and co-founder of Flow, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu and grappling academy in Rome that he leads together with co-founder Serena Gabrielli. The school describes him as part of the first generation of jiu-jitsu practitioners in Italy, someone who has lived through the whole evolution of the discipline in the country. His constant study and competition trips abroad have allowed him to keep developing as a practitioner while exploring the methodologies used at leading schools around the world. From that experience he reworked a structured teaching method intended to make jiu-jitsu accessible to everyone through a gradual, logical progression, and the academy now has official Flow schools in Italy, Russia and China.
