Detailed Description

Andrew Calandrelli is the owner and head instructor of Ultimate MMA & Jiu Jitsu Training Center. He has trained in martial arts since the age of four, boxed as an amateur and competed in point-fighting tournaments as a teenager, and began Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in New York City in 1996. He received his black belt in 2007 and is now a fourth-degree black belt under Marcelo Garcia with Team Alliance. Calandrelli fought professionally in mixed martial arts for more than ten years and is a Bellator Fighting Championships veteran. In grappling he has earned three national titles along with numerous first-place finishes at NAGA and Grapplers Quest events. That mix of experience shapes the well-rounded style of jiu-jitsu he teaches for sport, self-defense and MMA.
