Augusto Cursino is the founder and head coach of Supreme Art Club in South Melbourne, which offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai classes for kids and adults. He is a 2nd dan black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, trained under Master Fabio Alcino Dos Santos of the Cicero Costa team. Cursino began practising Jiu-Jitsu in 2009 as a way to manage his hyperactivity, and after a decade of training earned his black belt in 2019. Just five months later he moved to Australia in search of new opportunities. He has competed in tournaments since his early days as a white belt, and the club recently relocated to a larger space on York Street with expanded mats and facilities.
