Benjamin J Tallini

Ben Tallini is the owner and head coach of Haven Jiu Jitsu in Baldwinsville, New York. He has been training since December 2005, teaching since 2012, and earned his black belt in July 2017, giving him more than 20 years in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and combat sports. He has a 1-0 amateur MMA record and an extensive Jiu-Jitsu competition background, having made the podium at every IBJJF tournament he has entered at black belt and placed at multiple NAGA events. Under his leadership Haven has grown into one of the larger Jiu-Jitsu schools in the region, taking first place among adult gi competitors at the IBJJF International New Jersey Open and multiple team golds at Grappling Industries events. Tallini also works with several local law enforcement agencies on grappling-based training, and in 2024 he was named Businessman of the Year by the Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce.
