Brad Souders is the head Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor at Tactical Combat Academy in Greencastle, Pennsylvania. He is an IBJJF certified 3rd degree black belt under Rogerio Taborda, in a lineage the academy traces from Helio Gracie through Rickson Gracie, Jorge Pereira, and Paulo Guimaraes. Souders started training BJJ in 1993 and has been teaching for more than 11 years. Among the black belts he has produced is James Kearns, the academy's strength and conditioning coach, who holds a 2nd degree black belt under Souders and has won 17 IBJJF gold medals and two bronze medals at the IBJJF Worlds.
