Bruno Augusto Togni Antunes

Professor Bruno Antunes is the owner and head instructor of Honor Roll BJJ Academy in Santa Clarita, California. A Brazilian-born 2nd degree black belt, he began Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in his native Sao Paulo and by age 21 had decided to make it his career, teaching at a local academy and competing internationally. He spent years in Brazil using the sport to help children in need find direction. In 2011 Antunes and his wife Isabela moved to Santa Clarita to teach at a local academy; in 2013 they bought it, relocated it and renamed it Honor Roll BJJ. He still competes regularly at black belt, and his results include silver at the 2012 IBJJF Pan Americans, gold at the 2012 IBJJF American Nationals in both his division and the open class, and bronze at the 2012 IBJJF Masters Worlds. He continues to teach on the mats with his students daily.
