Bruno Pucci is the gym owner and head instructor of United BJJ Hawaii on Oahu, which he founded with his wife, six-time MMA World Champion Angela Lee Pucci. Born in Curitiba, Brazil, he began Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at 14 and rose quickly through the ranks, winning the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship in 2009 and 2010 along with the 2009 IBJJF Brazilian Nationals. After earning his black belt at 22 he moved to Singapore to teach and compete in ONE Championship, where he was a bantamweight and featherweight contender. Pucci's other results include third place at the 2010 IBJJF World Championship, the 2011 Abu Dhabi Pro Trials title and third place at the 2011 Abu Dhabi Pro World Championship. With more than 20 years of experience, he now leads United BJJ Hawaii with a focus on instruction, discipline and camaraderie for students of all levels.
