Chris D. Lisciandro

Chris Lisciandro is the founder and professor of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club - Street Sports, where he has taught since 2003. He began in combat sports at a young age with boxing and later moved into grappling and mixed martial arts before opening his own jiu-jitsu academy. He holds a fifth-degree black belt, and the academy's lineage runs through Master Renato Magno, who the site credits with steadying his early jiu-jitsu path and giving him the chance to train with Helio Gracie. Lisciandro competed heavily as he moved up the ranks, collecting gold, silver and bronze medals at tournaments. All of the club's coaches are black belts promoted under him, including lead instructors Joel Orozco, Vince Martinez, Jason Webster and Reyn Mercuri.
