Dimitri Corneliu Andrei is the founder and coach of Origins Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Limerick. Before opening the gym he trained three times a day, six days a week, with the goal of running his own academy, and pursued coaching and business courses alongside his own development as a competitor. Among his certifications he singles out his accreditation as a coach in the Winners Method, a programme for teaching Jiu-Jitsu to children, which underpins the school's emphasis on discipline, respect and perseverance for young students. He chose Limerick as the place to share his experience and describes the academy as a community built on mutual respect and camaraderie, where students can challenge themselves, build confidence and form lasting friendships.
