Edward Anthony is the owner of Atlas Jiu Jitsu and an IBJJF-certified third-degree black belt under coral belt Julio "Foca" Fernandez. He started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in New York City at the Renzo Gracie academy, training under John Danaher, and also holds a brown belt in judo under Nick Kossor. Atlas's MMA program is built on a curriculum he has developed over two decades. Anthony remains an active competitor with multiple Pan American gold medals, national titles and a World silver medal. The IBJJF ranked him first in his division and age category at purple, brown and black belt; in 2017-2018 he was named its top gi light featherweight, and in 2022 he was ranked first in no-gi featherweight. Recent results include No-Gi Pan Ams gold, an American Nationals title, second place at the No-Gi World Championship, and the 2024 Men of War 160-pound masters title.
