Efraim Zeferino is the founder and head instructor of ADG Jiu-Jitsu in Smyrna, Tennessee. Born in Mexico City, he began Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Murfreesboro under Mike Westcott and the Arte Da Guerra lineage, spending nearly a decade building his foundation there; he continues to train within the lineage of Samuel Braga, Vinicius Magalhães and Carlos Gracie Jr. After nine years of training and teaching, he and his wife opened ADG Jiu-Jitsu with his professor's support, and he was awarded his black belt six months after the academy opened. With more than a decade on the mats, Zeferino is a 2021 Pan American champion and a regular podium finisher at the IBJJF World Masters Championship. He teaches both group and private classes at the academy.
