Elias Dean Anderson

Elias Anderson is one of the two brothers behind ALLGROUND Jiu Jitsu in Reno, Nevada. He and his brother Laird were taught from childhood by their father, Lowell Anderson, a black belt who trained at the Gracie Academy under the founding family of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and fought in the Gracie challenge matches. The brothers grew up on the mats, and both went on to earn their black belts. While Laird pursued mixed martial arts, Elias concentrated on jiu-jitsu competition, and in 2021 he won the Combat Jiu Jitsu World Championship. After years of competing and teaching, the two brothers set out to build an academy that would carry forward what they had learned, and ALLGROUND opened its doors in Reno with that aim.
