Detailed Description
Eric Silver is the head instructor of Zanshin Dojo in Nashville. He began martial arts training in 1971 and has studied in the United States, Brazil, Japan and Europe. He holds a seventh-degree black belt in Wado-Ryu Karate and a fourth-degree black belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and is one of eight North Americans to receive their black belt directly from Rickson Gracie. Silver teaches regularly at the Nashville school and also in São Paulo, Brazil, and offers private classes alongside the dojo's other black-belt instructors. He has released an instructional through BJJ Fanatics, Fundamentals: Half Guard Lockdown and Follow Up.
