Ervin Quintin founded Impact Martial Arts Academy in Virginia Beach in 2009 and has trained in striking, grappling and weapons-based martial arts for more than 30 years. In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu his lineage runs from Roberto Traven through Carlos David Oliveira, and his second degree was awarded under Andre Galvao of Atos; he has competed in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai. Quintin holds instructor credentials across four disciplines under recognized lineages. He is a Senior Associate Instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto in Jeet Kune Do Concepts and in the Inosanto blend of Filipino Martial Arts, a Senior Instructor in Muay Thai under Surachai Sirisute, and a certified TBA-SA and WBC Muay Thai official. He also trained for 12 years in Sayoc Kali and is the founder of Quintin Kali, a Filipino Martial Arts system rooted in the Inosanto lineage.
