Gleidson Lanko Pereira, known as Mestre Pelezinho or simply Pelé, is the head coach for capoeira and jiu-jitsu at GINGA'N'ROLL in Braunschweig and co-founder of the Academia Braunschweig. He has practised martial arts for nearly 40 years and has taught capoeira and Brazilian jiu-jitsu for more than 30, blending techniques and movement from both disciplines. His path has taken him from Brazil through Australia and Israel to Europe, and he has been part of the Braunschweig martial arts scene for over a decade. He holds a first-degree black belt in BJJ and won the IBJJF European Championship in Lisbon three times, in 2017, 2018 and 2019, adding a bronze at the 2024 IBJJF European Masters in Barcelona. A capoeira mestre since 2013, he co-founded the group Capoeira Menino Bom in Israel in 2000.
