Gustavo Feres is the professor behind GFBJJ, the Gustavo Feres Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in the Batel district of Curitiba. He is a 4th degree black belt from the Renato Tavares lineage and has been dedicated to jiu-jitsu since 1998, a span of more than 25 years. Over that time Feres built what the school describes as one of the most respected jiu-jitsu academies in Curitiba, developing athletes, champions and families in the Batel. His method combines refined technique and discipline with a balance of progression, respect and safety for both beginners and advanced competitors, and he leads the GFBJJ mat as a space for the whole family to train and compete.
