Hassani Ali
Hassani Ali is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and the principal instructor of Umann Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the club he founded with Sofyan Charfi in April 2022 at the Gymnase du Lion in Saint-Genis-Pouilly. He discovered jiu-jitsu at the Icon Jiu-Jitsu club run by Anderson Pereira and continued at the Tiko Souza academy under Claudemir Jose de Souza. After 14 years of practice and earning his black belt, he trained as a volunteer coach before creating Umann. Since its founding, the team has made a notable start in competition in France and Switzerland, with students winning numerous titles and medals; the club now runs eight weekly classes, including no-gi sessions, for teens and adults.
