Inder Biant is the Academy Head Professor at Southern Quarter in Amesbury, where he heads up the SQCA Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programme. He first discovered BJJ in 2002 while working in South-East Asia and, on returning to London, began training under Roger Gracie, eventually earning his black belt. After his promotion, Biant founded and ran a large martial arts and fitness centre in London, where he met the owners of Southern Quarter. As a competitor he has medalled at European level in the IBJJF Championships in the Masters divisions and nationally in the adult divisions. His focus as a coach is on teaching the fundamental techniques and principles of BJJ in an environment that gives the gentle art the platform it deserves.
