Iwan Hansen
Iwan Hansen is the founder and head coach of Underhook Society, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling club based in Leiden. He holds a first-degree black belt. The club describes him as its driving force, known for technical precision and seemingly endless energy, and jokes that he treats rest days as something that exists only for other people. Hansen teaches at both the Leiden and Lisse locations and is portrayed as constantly working to improve the club, its members and the overall level, on and off the mat. He is supported by brown belt Mike Harteveld and by Dianne Stolk, a third-dan judoka and BJJ purple belt, and the club offers both gi jiu-jitsu and no-gi grappling classes.
