Jean Jacques Machado is an 8th-degree red and black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, widely considered one of the most technical grapplers in BJJ history. Despite a birth defect affecting his left hand, he captured the 1999 ADCC Championship, earning the Most Technical Fighter award. He is a pioneer of BJJ in America.
