Detailed Description
Jerel "Jerry" Hallert is the head professor at Komainu Yemaso Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Reno. He has trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 23 years and holds a 3rd-degree black belt under multiple-time World and Pan Am champion Marcos "Yemaso" Torregrosa, under whose lead the academy operates. Hallert has developed black belts of his own at the academy: Bill Rulla and Ben "Red" VanMeter both hold 1st-degree black belts awarded under him and teach alongside him. Under Torregrosa's direction he runs the grappling program that serves the Reno Tahoe area.
