Jeremy Watkins is the owner and head instructor of Watkins Wrecking Crew Martial Arts, a jiu-jitsu and judo academy serving South Arlington and Kennedale. With more than 30 years in martial arts, he holds a fifth-degree black belt in Taekwondo, a second-degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and a brown belt in Judo. His competitive background includes national Taekwondo titles and high world rankings in breaking, but the academy considers his coaching in jiu-jitsu his real legacy: his students include multiple world champions and a lineage of black belts who compete at a high level. He runs the academy with Renée Watkins, its business administrator.
