Joe Pardo teaches MMA and Brazilian jiu-jitsu at Black House MMA Torrance. A second-degree jiu-jitsu black belt, he trained at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu from 1993 to 2001 and Caique Jiu-Jitsu from 2001 to 2009, received his purple belt from Helio Gracie, fought MMA from 1997 to 2006 including the UFC in 1998, and trained with Royce Gracie for his UFC fights.
