Professor Kelly Corder is the head instructor at Kajukenbo Arizona (Kaju AZ) in Mesa. He holds an 8th degree Kajukenbo black belt, a 5th degree Pit MMA black belt under John Hackleman, with whom the school has been affiliated since 2007, and a 2nd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt through Master Luigi Mondelli of Kore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (American Top Team). Corder began training in 1993, starting in American Kenpo before finding Grandmaster George Lim in Hawaiian Kenpo Karate. He received a 5th degree promotion in Kenpo/Kajukenbo from Grandmaster Allen Abad in February 2009 and later a 2nd degree Kajukenbo black belt from Professor Sal Banuelos. In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu he won gold in his age and weight division at the 2010 Pan Nationals and has medaled at IBJJF Pans and World Masters events. He was inducted into the Kenpo Hall of Fame in August 2011.
