Detailed Description
Kristian Woodmansee is the founder of Logic Jiu Jitsu in Philadelphia. A black belt under Andre Galvao, he places the academy in a direct lineage to ATOS and, through it, to Carlos Gracie Jr. Together with JT Torres he promoted Logic's current head instructor and owner, Dennis Pressey Jr., to black belt in 2019, and with Pressey he promoted instructors Markee McCrimmon and Matt Rong to black belt in 2024. The academy now represents the Vanguard affiliation, which it joined in 2026 and which is led by Josh Hinger alongside Woodmansee.
