Leandro Lorenco is a coach at Milestone Martial Arts in Las Vegas. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he has been teaching Jiu-Jitsu since 2006 and holds a 4th degree black belt (FPJJ) under Masters Danny and Robert Abu. He is also a 3rd dan Judo black belt (USJA) and a three-time Judo National Champion (2014, 2017 and 2019). Lorenco was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame as Black Belt of the Year in 2015 and as Distinguished Instructor in 2020, and received the USJA President's Award for Grassroots Excellence in 2024. He published his first book, "Martial Arts Instructorship: the student-to-teacher transition," in 2019, and has authored scientific research. His education includes a Ph.D. in Psychology, an MBA, a Master's in Human Movement Sciences and a Bachelor's in Physical Education.
