Professor Lucas Nabuco is the head professor at Gracie Barra Greensboro and a 2nd degree black belt from Brasília, Brazil. Introduced to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by his older brothers, he started training in 2009 under Professor Lúcio Curado and earned his black belt in 2020 under Professor Rodrigo Gomes. Before moving to North Carolina, Nabuco spent four years as head professor at Gracie Barra Fort Collins, helping establish and grow it into a leading academy in Colorado. His students describe him as patient, good at breaking the curriculum down step by step, and especially strong with children. He also writes regularly for the academy's blog on training and beginner fundamentals.
