Marcel Ferreira Ribeiro

Professor Marcel Ribeiro is the founder of Dream Mat MR, the Jiu-Jitsu school and competition team in the centre of São Vicente, São Paulo, which he established on 15 January 2004 with the aim of helping people and transforming lives. Over more than 20 years he has developed the school's own teaching methodology, which the academy says has been refined for over 15 years to respect each student's pace, level and goals, and he trains the professors who deliver it. Ribeiro and his team use Jiu-Jitsu as a tool for self-knowledge, discipline and personal development, working with children and adults, men and women, from complete beginners to advanced competitors. The team he leads, known as Time Marcel, describes its culture as serious, technical and human, built on values of truth, faith, love, respect, empathy and care.
