Marcio Carvalho Corleta

Professor Marcio Corleta is the owner and head coach of Winner Behring Jiu-Jitsu SD. A sixth-degree black belt, he is a three-time IBJJF World Champion at black belt, an IBJJF Pan American Champion and an IBJJF European Champion, with more than 30 years of experience teaching jiu-jitsu in Brazil and the United States. Corleta's technique was passed down to him over the years by Professors Maurição and Sylvio Behring and by Grand Masters Álvaro Barreto and Flávio Behring, and the academy's teaching system, built on the principles of balance, movement and leverage, grows out of that lineage. Among the champions he has trained is former UFC champion Fabricio Werdum.
