Marcio Carvalho Corleta

Marcio Corleta founded Winner Behring Jiu-Jitsu in Porto Alegre in 1994, making it one of the pioneering Jiu-Jitsu schools in the state of Rio Grande do Sul; the school has been an official representative of Behring Jiu-Jitsu since 1997. Corleta later moved to California to open the team's first school in the United States, and day-to-day training at the Porto Alegre headquarters passed to professors Marcos Lanzer and Gabriel Machado. He continues to supervise the academy, returning twice a year to teach classes and to conduct the grading of all students. The school teaches self-defence, sport Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling through a progressive teaching method.
