Marcos Macedo is the head coach of Stronger BJJ in Wimbledon, where he leads both the adult and kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu programmes. He is a 1st degree black belt under Oliver Geddes, a 4th degree black belt, and the club traces his lineage through Roger Gracie, Carlos Gracie Jr., Carlos Gracie Sr. and Mitsuyo Maeda. As a competitor, Macedo completed a treble in 2020, taking gold at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, Grappling Industries and the IBJJF Nationals. At Stronger he teaches a style of BJJ that can be applied to self-defence, gi and no-gi grappling tournaments, and as a complement to mixed martial arts training.
