Martin Wong

Martin Wong is the founder and head coach of Levels Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Walton, Liverpool. He is a first-degree black belt under Combat Base UK's Darren and Helen Currie and has more than 20 years of experience in BJJ. The accolades listed by the academy include an amateur MMA title, an undefeated professional MMA record and Grapplefest appearances. His coaching rests on the belief that consistency and a willingness to learn matter more than talent. He is known for a calm, supportive teaching style and for breaking techniques down so that complete beginners can follow, with the aim of building an environment where anyone, whatever their experience, feels comfortable training and gets a little better each time they step on the mats.
