Masanori Yoshida

Black Belt

Masanori Yoshida is the representative and head instructor of Infinis Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, serving Akashi and Kobe's Nishi ward, and holds a black belt. He leads a staff of five instructors, two of them women. His competition results span nearly two decades: he won the adult blue belt light featherweight division at the 2006 Asian Championship and the 2007 All Japan Championship, took third at the 2007 World Championship in the same division, won the Master 2 brown belt featherweight division at Ground Impact West in 2021, and placed third in the Master 3 black belt featherweight division at the 2024 SJJIF World Championship. Yoshida presents jiu-jitsu as a lifestyle rather than just a way to get stronger, and as a low-barrier sport that anyone can try.
