Mathias Ribeiro is the professor who directs Mathias Ribeiro Team, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in the Hortaleza district of Madrid. The academy describes him as a black belt with extensive international experience, and it teaches both gi jiu-jitsu and no-gi grappling, with beginners and advanced students training together. The school's headquarters in Hortaleza and its affiliate, Atenea, use a training-tracking platform called MatKin, and student promotions to the next stripe or belt are determined by accumulated training hours combined with Ribeiro's own technical assessment.
