Micah Alan Brakefield
Micah Brakefield is the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor at Etobicoke Martial Arts, a 10th Planet affiliate, where the school presents him as its feature instructor for no-gi grappling. He holds a 10th Planet black belt and a BJJ black belt, and the site credits him with a Submission Underground record, appearances as a Combat Jiu-Jitsu, Fight 2 Win and World Series of Fighting veteran, and a finalist placing at the 10th Planet Qualifiers. Before focusing on grappling instruction he competed as a professional MMA fighter and wrestled at the Canadian national level, earning silver medals in both Greco-Roman and freestyle. His classes combine fundamental and advanced technical instruction, breaking down each sequence, position and transition for students from newcomers to black belts.
