Michael William Geery

Professor Michael Geery leads The Jiujitsu Project in Tarpon Springs, Florida. The academy's instructors page lists him as a fourth-degree black belt, and he also holds black belts in judo and aikido. He has trained for more than 30 years and has taught kids and adults for over 20 of them, and he regularly teaches and attends seminars around the country. At the JJP, Geery has spent years developing a staff of experienced instructors and coaches with long backgrounds in jiu-jitsu and related disciplines. Anyone who teaches there must run a regular class on the schedule and continue their own education under him.
